 When you lose a best friend, there really is no one that can really replace them, and you spend all your life wondering where things went sour - you always miss them. It can't be helped and for this there is no real remedy. Sometimes they just have to leave you with promises to stay with you to the best of their abilities. In any case, you could do one of two things: continue as you were without them or try to fix it. The bond will always be there the friendship always intact; But the time for us has come and gone and the pages of time, you can't turn back.
